Greetings, Due to the inclement weather today, we are dismissing all Dooly County Schools Summer Programs at 1:30 p.m. Due to inclement weather predicted for June 15th, we will not be opened for students tomorrow. As a reminder, Dooly Schools will be closed on Monday, June 19th for the Juneteenth Federal Holiday. We will welcome students back on Tuesday, June 20th. Stay safe and listen to your local weather reports.
With the threat of potentially severe thunderstorms today, Wed., June 14th, DCSS will postpone the Book Bus scheduled for the Vienna Park and Pinehurst bus route. Updates to come.
The DCSS book bus is headed today, June 13th, to Byromville Park and on the Lilly bus route. Come on out for some great books and a cool snack!

This is a reminder of today's mandatory summer program parent and student orientation sessions for all students participating in the program. Today's session will take place Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 5:00 P.M., in person at the Dooly K-8 cafeteria. Our second session will be held tomorrow, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. in person and with a virtual option. The Dooly County School System cordially invites parents, community partners, and stakeholders to provide input on the FY23 Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP). Under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Title I regulations for federal compliance, parents are encouraged to provide input on the revisions of the district's Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP) and the district's Parent and Family Engagement Policy. You will find links to our Title I Stakeholders Input Surveys that were shared at our Stakeholders Input meetings held at the Dooly County K8 Academy and Dooly Count High School on April 26th and May 2nd. on the district website under News. Please use the input surveys to provide any suggestions and/or comments.
