During last week’s District Leadership Team meeting, the following DCSS leaders were recognized for their participation, contributing thoughts, and leadership during the month of August. Game balls of the month were given to Mr. Rodney Daniels (Dooly County K8 Assistant Principal) and Ms. Latorri West (DCSS Instructional Specialist). The “committed to growth” plant was presented to Mrs. Carla Mahone (Pre-K Director/Intervention Teacher). Attention Dooly County K-8 Academy Parents!
The 21st CCLC 2023-2024 Afterschool Program Registration forms were sent home on August 16, 2023. The program will operate Mondays-Thursdays from 3:15 PM to 6:25 PM beginning September 5, 2023. All Dooly County School students in grades K-12 are eligible for the program. Students will receive homework help, tutoring, enrichment, recreation, and STEAM activities. A daily snack and bus transportation is provided at no cost. Slots will fill fast on a first-received, first-served basis. If you have already completed a registration form, you do not need to fill out another. We would love to have your child(ren) in the program.
It was Italian day in all Dooly County Cafeterias. Students could choose between:
Chicken Parm with Penne Pasta, Marinara, & a Garlic Knot or Pepperoni & Cheese Pizza.
Sides included:
