Dooly County School System proudly salutes our very own, Ms. Minnie Harper who has been awarded the 2023 Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Champion for Education Award. The Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Champion for Education program recognizes outstanding individuals in each community who go above and beyond the norm to assist and promote local schools and other educational agencies. Ms. Minnie Harper is the epitome of this with over 51 years of service in education upon retirement and having only missed 95 days (less than 1% of the time) of the 9, 180 days of work during her time of service. Though officially retired, we know Ms. Minnie Harper is not retired, serving on the school board as chair, working with the Dooly County Community Booster Club and the Retired Teachers Association and more. Congratulations Ms. Minnie Harper, Chattahoochee-Flint RESA 2023 Champion for Education! The award is well deserved, and we say THANK YOU for all that you do!!! #ThisisDooly! #IamDooly! #WeareDooly!

We need your help!!! We will be administering the Winter End of Course Exams from December 4th to December 8th. We are inviting members of our community and stakeholders to create posters or signs with words of encouragement for our scholars. Our intention is to adorn the hallways with positive messages and affirmations. We know our scholars would feel a little extra special if they had words of encouragement from their loved ones and members of the community. Posters can be dropped off at the school or you can share a message that we will print and share.

Thank you, Coach Lester and the Bobcat Football Team, for a great season! We are proud of you. "We Believe!"
